Coolest Podcast In The Jungle

Miscellaneous

First episode of 2019, Happy New Year! We start off talking about the influence rap music has on Marcos, a musician who mostly makes folk and jazz music. It's very interesting to see the perspective of rap coming from artists that are in such different genres. We play the "3 strikes" game with the Top 10 highest paid hip-hop artists of 2018. We both love movies, so we talk about master filmmakers such as Kubrick, Scorsese, and Nolan. The greatness of Heath Ledger had to be talked about, as well as our Top 5 favorite movies of all-time. The WWE Attitude Era has never been talked about on this podcast. We both agree that from 1998-2001, wrestling was the coolest thing going on at the time. We discuss wrestlers like The Rock and finishing moves like The Pedigree, but also we play the "3 strikes" game again because it's just so fun. We feel nobody talks enough about the death of Prince and other great artists, such as Michael Jackson and Whitney Houston, who just died "suddenly". Were they murdered? Who's the better artist, Michael Jackson or Prince? Being a musician who's been in multiple rock bands, Marcos breaks it down as to why rock music is dead.
