All of this actually, is because of you guys. Seriously, it's the connection that we share and have shared over the years, and thanks to your support that you have given me this gift and opportunity to pursue a life dedicated to my family, and to music. Of course I have always connected with the titles of all of my albums, but this album really holds a special significance to me and to how my life is so surrounded by music. This time around, I'm pleased to share that in the pursuit of the most authentic expression of "Art", I choose to work with my long time friend Nelson Ruger to create a collaborative set of artwork that was painted to canvas, and then photographed for use as the album cover and related imagery. I've always connected with the positive feelings Nelson expresses in his paintings, and over the course of nearly two years we worked together to bring the "feeling" in paint to canvas, to the feelings of the music of "Art for Life". I hope that this music will find you wherever you are, and that place either in reality or in the music of this album, is a place that brings you peace, joy, and inspires more Love in your journey. Thank you guys so much again for being a part of my life, and for being a part of my musical journey.
