YBII hosts talks with influencer Toni Williams aka The Queen Motivator (instagram: @TheQueenMotivator) a Memphis native, University of Tennessee of Chattanooga Alumni, Graduate of Strayer University Masters of Education Program, and United States Marines Corps Veteran. During her tour of duties, she honorably served as a Corporal of Marines, a Non-Commissioned Officer In Charge, Vice President of the Single Marine Program, Program coordinator for Community outreach: Grate patrol DC Metro and mentor, and held many other leadership roles. Currently she holds a position at the DC Mayor - Veteran Affairs Office, Public Information Officer, and Women in LGBTQ Liaison. She has built the platform QueenMotivator.com to be a resource that embodies and inspires veterans and others like her. The focus of her story is "The Black Female Veteran," furthermore her mission is to empower the black female veterans voice beyond measure and bring together veterans from various backgrounds. With a focus to educate and find ways to remind the community that veterans are the pillar of all local communities and to express the importance of veteran support.
