Summer turns to autumn, and life among the Namers goes on. Some long-standing questions are answered, but only leave even more unknowns in their wake. Many people feel restless, fueling obsessive projects in religion, in academics, and in moon-wrangling. Tragedy looms on the horizon, and not every leader will live through the year.
