In the midst of the pandemic, with all that has transpired with Megan The Stallion being assaulted by Tory Lanez; it’s been on our hearts for some time to touch on domestic violence. Surprisingly, your cohosts have dealt with it in our pasts relationships. This is a hard episode to discuss. But it is necessary. We introduce the statistical fact that 1 in 3 women experience domestic violence in their lifetimes, and bring it full circle by identifying how this can happen everyday with whom you love. Domestic abuse is taboo, but it is more common than not. Additionally, black women deal with domestic violence at an even more alarming rate than our counterparts. It’s tome to get real.
