Saturday Morning Coffee - the Reese Boyd Radio Hour

Miscellaneous

Welcome to a Special Second Anniversary Edition of Saturday Morning Coffee!Today's episode is the Second Anniversary of Saturday Morning Coffee, and we thank all of our listeners (and sponsors) for supporting Saturday Morning Coffee for two years now!  Reese opens the show with a little "refresher" on the history of Saturday Morning Coffee, how it came to be, and his vision and hopes/aspirations for the show. This week's topics include: Veep Harris FINALLY makes a Run for the Border, and visits, well, El Paso, which is at least "close" to the Border, before flying on to LAX.  We discuss the unparalleled building collapse in Surfside, Florida, and our hearts and prayers go out to all the families of the victims and this missing, who have been impacted by this horrific tragedy.  Your host for Saturday Morning Coffee, Reese Boyd, also discusses a very important piece that was published in the Wall St. Journal this week, by Drs. Joseph Ladapo and Harvey Rich, about all that we DON'T know about the safety of COVID-19 vaccines.  Jonathan Butcher, an education fellow with the Heritage Foundation, joins us on the program to discuss the growing prevalence of Critical Race Theory in our society and (more importantly) in our schools.  Special guest Tom Herron, host of Up With America, joins us in the studio for a special "guest host" segment where Reese and Tom discuss this history and purposes of the two shows, and how each has grown over the last year for Up With America, and over the last two years for Saturday Morning Coffee.  Reese discusses some very troubling news, also reported in the WSJ this week and elsewhere, regarding Rudy Giuliani's suspension from the practice of law in New York State, and what a troubling and dangerous development this is for all of us, attorneys and non-attorneys alike.Reese concludes with some Parting Wisdom from Michael Farris, President of the Alliance Defending Freedom, about the importance of standing up and Speaking Out for the things that you know to be true and right, even when you are the only one who is willing to take a stand or to speak out.  We must be strong and courageous, because we never know what the impact of even just one voice may be, so we must speak out! Thanks for listening to Saturday Morning Coffee!  We love all our listeners and thank you for two great years, and look forward to many more!Proverbs 3:5-6
