Welcome to Saturday Morning Coffee for October 9, 2021! Reese and Glenn were on sabbatical for October 2, 2021, but we are back in the studio this week with another fresh-brewed episode of Saturday Morning Coffee!Let's Go Brandon! - OR - Ten Questions that Really Don't Make Sense: Reese begins the show with a series of questions (HT to Bill O'Reilley) that illustrate just how backwards the thinking of the Biden Administration has been, and how much that have done, and continue to do, that is dramatically harmful to this nation. The questions - mostly rhetorical - are still worth discussing. It makes sense to us; why doesn't it makes sense to ALL of us??? The Ten Questions: (All begin with Does it Make Sense...) 1. To allow millions of foreign nationals to enter the USA unsupervised? 2. To abandon Afghanistan completely, in the face of human rights abuses by the Taliban, when that will only encourage more abuse? 3. To shut down the Keystone pipeline just to turn around and ask Saudi Arabia to expand oil sales? 4. To support CRT teaching in schools that encourages our children to despise one another based on the color of their skin? 5. For the federal government to spend so much money that inflation explodes, and the value of your savings is diminished, and the purchasing power of your wages decreased? 6. To support no bail laws that allow criminals to commit more crimes? 7. To be one of only seven countries in the world that allow unrestricted abortions? 8. To oppose voter ID requirements? 9. To say that white supremacists are a larger terror threat than Islamic Jihadists?10. For a President of the United States to accuse his own country of systemic racism?The ANSWER to all of these questions to the vast majority of us is painfully obvious!! Why isn't the answer to these questions painfully obvious to our President. The POTUS has advances all of these ideas within the last few months - some of them repeatedly!!Horry County Rising:April Thomas with Horry County Rising joins us on the program to discuss the Horry County Rising organization and its efforts to advocate for flood mitigation and planning efforts in Horry County. Republican Party, joins us on the show to discuss a GOP Action Conference that has been planned and will be held in Myrtle Beach on the weekend of October 29, 2021. He also discusses recent polling and President Joe Biden's free-falling approval rating.I Pledge Allegiance Tour:Gene Ho drops by the Studio to talk about the I Pledge Allegiance Tour, which is also coming to Myrtle Beach on October 29, 2021. Gene also gives us a quick update.Parting Wisdom:In the parting wisdom segment, Reese gets some coffee delivered to the Studio and finally starts to feel like himself. VAX Mandates - Reese discusses a recent decision from a federal District Court in Michigan that held a university policy at Western Michigan University requiring athletes to take the COVID-19 or not play football or other sports infringes on the students' constitutional liberty. This debate is not about whether the vaccines are effective or not. This debate is about whether you should have the right to discuss this issue with your doctor and make the decision that is best for you and your family.
