It's not everyday I get to speak with a simplicity expert.  In fact, before today, I have to be honest.  I did not even know such an expert existed!  And for those of you who are in agreement (hopefully some, because then I don't feel so daft!) a Simplicity Expert is someone who can help you to cut the noise and complexity out of life so you can reconnect with what’s important to you.  Might sound easy to do, but have you actually tried that and succeeded long term?  I sure haven't.I'm Wilhelmina Ford, host of ShareAbode:  The Podcast and the simplicity expert I chat with in this episode is a woman by the name of Bronwen Sciortino.  If you recognise that name, its probably because she has three published books that have gone to international critical acclaim:  ‘Keep It Super Simple’ ,  ‘The Economy of Enough’ and ‘Beyond AH-Ha’. Bronwen is sought to blog regularly for global platforms, and is regularly invited as a guest interviewee on TV, radio, blogs, podcasts, Facebook Live, YouTube and member sites situated throughout the world. This episode was recorded before the #Coronavirus got extreme here in Australia but the elements that are touched on such as technology overwhelm, stress and ability for it to creep into every part of our lives so we think we are busy, but in fact, not as busy as initially thought can be very powerful lessons as we self-isolate.  Being stuck in our homes, with our constant power switch on causing harm to the body, inability to fully recharge, replenish and rest during sleep time can have really BIG impacts on how we regulate our emotional, mental and physical wellbeing during the day and those of everyone in the household.Brownwen doesn't administer the typical method of "cut it out of your life!!" She believes #technology is a fact of life, it's part of it - Heck, she built a global business through technology.  What she teaches us is that life is only getting faster and more demanding – so for us to thrive we have to work out who we are within that environment of technology, aspirations and speed and once we know this then it becomes about the blend that works best for each individual.  You WILL finish this episode knowing more about your values, whats important to you, the extent to how technology can work well and work poorly for you in mental, physical and emotional areas of your life and get some resources for you to delve into, in order to take that discovery further.  Bronwen has generously offered you a 15% discount on individual book purchases from the below website:https://www.sheiqlife.com/shop   (use code:  KISS123) She has also put together some free tools fo you to use as follows:1.  Free email series with free tools https://sheiqlife.com/7-steps-email-series/2.  How to work out your values and who you are in regards to technology:https://sheiqlife.com/free-tools/You can find and follow here through the below links:Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/bronwensciortinoauthorInstagram:  https://www.instagram.com/bronwensciortino_authorLinkedIn:  https://www.linkedin.com/in/bronwensciortinoWebsite:  https://www.bronwensciortino.com
