Welcome to our brand new section - "Shotgun The Classics" (we couldn't come up with anything more original) where we revisit and breakdown some of our favourite Hip Hop albums.In this episode, we tackle the seminal UK Hip Hop classic "The Return Of The Drifter" by English rapper Jehst released in 2002 on Low Life Records.After revisiting the album in a track by track breakdown, we were joined by UK veteran DJ and producer Harry Love who gave some insight on how the project came into existence, meeting Jehst for the first time and being blown away by his bars, legendary street cyphers with UK Hip Hop royalty, and of course his production on the classic tracks "Alcoholic Author" and "Staircase to Stage".(Note: we were all scratching our heads (no pun intended) trying to figure out who performed the cuts for the record.
