Bathsheba, the beautiful woman next door, was pregnant.  Uriah, her husband, the soldier, was dead.  David, King of Israel, was responsible.  For sure, this was a turning point in David’s life.  But I want to focus on the rest of the story.  God loved David too much to let him wallow in sin without trying to change his life.  So, God sent the prophet Nathan to challenge David to face what he had done and change.    Key Points:  1. Nathan’s confrontation:Nathan was the right person.                            Nathan confronted an issue that really mattered.Nathan went alone.                                                         Nathan confronted in God’s timing.  Nathan went with the facts.                                                        Nathan went with careful words.  Nathan was courageous and truthful.          2. David’s reaction:David was approachable.  David quickly admitted guilt.David repented.                            David accepted the earthly consequences. David forgave himself and kept his friendship with Nathan.Support the show (https://centralnow.com/give/)
