Robert David is the youth and gang prevention coordinator in Danville, Va. In just over one year, he created an innovative program that has gained national attention and impacted the deadly gang violence in the city. The program was awarded the President’s Award from the Virginia Municipal League: the highest honor in the state for a local government's innovation solutions.
