Mike Daum thought about transferring when his South Dakota State coach left after his freshman year. His new coach got him to stay. After winning back-to-back Summit League player of the year honors, he could have graduate-transferred to any program in the country. His coach was a big reason he chose to stay. That coach was T.J.
