Sparc Technologies (ASX: SPN) executive chairman Stephen Hunt joins Small Caps to discuss its new collaboration with the University of Adelaide to develop next-generation technology to produce commercially-viable ultra-green hydrogen. Sparc will hold 72% equity in a new joint venture company named Sparc Hydrogen, which will focus on advancing a process that employs the sun’s ultraviolet light and thermal properties to convert water into hydrogen and oxygen without the use of an electrolyser. As an emerging graphene-based product developer, Sparc’s role in the partnership involves developing graphene coatings for the photocatalyst. Under the terms of the deal, the company will also issue 3 million shares to the university and contribute $4.75 million towards joint venture expenditure over 4.5 years.Article:https://smallcaps.com.au/sparc-technologies-university-of-adelaide-develop-commercial-scale-ultra-green-hydrogen/For more information:https://smallcaps.com.au/stocks/SPN/
