A very heavy discussion at times, we are at odds on a few points raised by this episode or Star Trek the Next Generation in which we find young Wesley Crusher facing expulsion from Starfleet Academy because of a bad decision he and his fellow Nova Squadron crew members make leading to the death of one of their members. Wesley comes around in the end as we expect him to but the journey there is compelling and filled with drama.
