Welcome back to our re-boot of the DeAnna On Design podcast!! Today's topic will feature guest Alisha Doorlag, NKBA.  We will discuss the impact of the pandemic & subsequent shelter in place/stay at home ordinances in place in many states/countries on the design industry & how clients & designers can still move forward with existing plans OR starting to plan for future projects so time is not lost. As we are 'sheltering in place' and/or working from home, our home environment has become even more important in terms of our health-mental & physical-and a place where we work, educate & entertain ourselves on a 24/7 basis.  Creating and designing an environment that supports us through these unprecedented & challenging times, while still maintaining a sense of normalcy is key to getting through the next month(s).  Our re-boot will offer tips, projects & reviews of ideas you can easily implement into your home to make this time a bit easier. Alisha Doorlag is an Interior Designer who specializes in kitchens, baths and historic preservation.  A graduate of Kendall college of Art and Design, Alisha has served the West Michigan area in numerous roles from cabinetry showroom manager to on staff designer for area builders and most recently starting her own company Zozzled by Design, to better serve the design needs of her clients !  Alisha is actively involved with her local NKBA chapter and is currently serving as President for the West Michigan NKBA.  Alisha thrives on creating beautiful spaces that truly function for her clients. She believes that your home should comfort you, reflect you and zozzle you ! Zozzled is the overall feeling of being captivated, enthralled and just a little bit giddy and everyone deserves to feel this daily in your home and spaces you live your life.
