In this episode, Garrett, Brennan, and Bink bring on Dr. Baxter aka Bink’s dad. They kick off the episode with fast facts about Dr. B –one being that he has been practicing as an orthopedic surgeon for the past 27 years, another is that he is an identical twin. Bink got his obsessiveness from his dad it seems, as Dr. B shares his recent success in brisket cooking, while everyone else shares some of their past obsessions as well. Finally, they jump into Dr. Baxter’s story where he shares about growing up in a small town, being a twin, the inspiration behind the dream of being a doctor, the long hours and challenges in med school and residency, and learning how to be generous after becoming a surgeon. He also shares his incredible experience of being a responder to the Haiti earthquake a week after it happened and how important it is to listen to God’s voice.
