Stuart Cosgrove is a writer and broadcaster, who used to work for the NME and The Face back in the 1980s. He was also an executive at Channel 4, where he was controller of Arts and Entertainment, and then Head of Programmes at the channel.He co-hosts the popular and long-running BBC Radio Scotland show, Off The Ball, with Tam Cowan, and his great sporting love is his hometown football team, St Johnstone.Stuart is also the author of the Soul Trilogy – a series of books on soul music and social change. They are – Detroit 67: The Year That Changed Soul; Memphis 68: The Tragedy of Southern Soul; Harlem 69: The Future Of Soul, and his latest book, Cassius X, was published in September 2020 by Polygon.
