First Corinthians 6-9-11 affirms judgment for the unrighteous while also confirming justification, sanctification, and washing for those who are in Christ. In other words, the gospel changes penitent sinners and conforms them to Christlikeness. This is not always a once-and-done deliverance- it normally requires a daily repentance of thought, desire, and practice.
