Symphony and working with producers like Prince Paul and Will I Am, to name a few. As the group evolved, CookBook and other members of the group developed as solo artists. Throughout his career, CookBook has released multiple solo and collaborative projects. His latest solo album, also being his last, titled Jason Soto Was Here. CookBook has had success reinventing himself, originally creating the Podcast “Really Tho?!?” CookBook has found new success creating and hosting the hit podcast "Felipe’s Garage". For this interview we had the chance to speak with CookBook prior to the release of this album. To fully understand the title of the album we have to learn where Cooks journey started, in the garage of his father Felipe, how he rose to fame as part of L.A. Symphony, stayed true to himself as a solo artist by creating music he loved, reinventing himself as a Podcaster and has created a legacy for his family, friends and fans to be proud of.
