The 2021 Olympics continue to be a ratings disaster for NBC. Olympic ratings opening weekend hit 33-year lows...and the decline continued on Monday. We reveal the primetime ratings for the Olympics Monday on NBC. We also explain why the low ratings are forcing NBC to offer reimbursement to advertisers. Variety is reporting sponsors for the Olympics are feeling anxious about the low ratings...which would make NBC offer them free ad time in the future. We theorize that the reason ratings for the Olympics are so low is because the IOC allowed politics...which caused both Republicans and Democrats to refuse to watch.
