Teddy Atlas talks about boxing and his extensive charity work in this interview with Fight News Unlimited's "Rabble Rousin'" Rich Bergeron. Atlas was once a protege of the late, great Cus D'Amato and worked with the famous trainer during Mike Tyson's early years as a boxer. Since then, Atlas has worked in a few other pro boxing camps training fighters like Michael Moorer, Donny Lalonde, and Alexander Povetkin. He's also been able to work with various professional football players and football teams, providing both inspirational advice and strength and conditioning tips to go along with some rudimentary boxing clinics. Atlas is perhaps most well known for his extensive boxing analysis and commentary, mainly for ESPN. Atlas is a fixture on Friday Night Fights and Wednesday Night Fights broadcasts on the network, which he joined in 1998. Prior to joining ESPN, Atlas served as ringside analyst for Showtime, ABC Wide World of Sports, and HBO radio broadcasts. He also is well-known for his commentary for Olympic boxing. Atlas discusses his charity work at length in this interview, inspired by his father Dr. Theodore Atlas. The foundation he started bears his father's name and operates under some of the same selfless principles his father lived by.
