Socceroos captain Mile Jedinak has announced his retirement from international football effective immediately. After 79 caps, 20 goals, three FIFA World Cup appearances and an Asian Cup triumph, Jedinak has decided to call time on his international career. Jedinak made his international debut in 2008 a friendly against Singapore. In 2014 he was appointed captain by then-coach Ange Postecoglou ahead of the World Cup in Brazil.
