This one is a little different, but I had to make an episode on it when I learned about it. This episode is a deep dive into a topic that has totally fascinated me called the Better-Than-Average Effect. Basically, we're all psychos who think we're better than the average person at pretty much anything and everything. People who have caused car accidents think they're not only better, but safer drivers than the average person. Even prisoners think they're better than the average person. A study conducted in 2013 by the British Journal of Social Psychology found that prisoners think they're not only better than the average prisoner, but better than the average non-prisoner in everything from kindness to trustworthiness ...everything except law-abidingness. Thanks as always for listening and don't forget to share the show with a friend! I'll talk to you again soon. Love ya. Peace. Shout out to our Producer: Sam!
