Breonna Taylor was shot and killed by Louisville police who entered her home without knocking or announcing themselves. These sorts of violent, chaotic raids are disproportionately affecting the black community and have caused many injuries and deaths over the years. Why are police departments using such excessive force for such low level crimes? Today we will examine the facts of no-knock warrants and why Breonna's death on the night of March 13th, 2020 never should have happened.
