Dorianne St Fleur founded Your Career Girl to create a safe space for upwardly mobile, professional women of color to get honest, open, and transparent career support and guidance. She is a high-performance coach and a visibility strategist who primarily works with black women who are high achieving and ambitious and want to get clear on what the possibilities are in their career. Dorianne works with her clients through coaching, facilitating mastermind sessions, and leading training workshops geared toward helping women of color stop self-sabotaging and navigate toward their desired career path gracefully.Dorianne joins me today to discuss why she started Your Career Girl back in 2015, how it helped her set professional goals for herself and why she focuses her advice on women of color specifically. She shares her experience of working both in consulting and in corporate America during her career, including in leadership roles at Google and how she managed to juggle her full-time job and developing Your Career Girl and find a balance and flexibility in her career. Dorianne also emphasizes knowing your worth, knowing your value, and asking the tough questions in order to achieve your career goals.“Success is inevitable - the only variable is time.
