Today’s guest is Lathan Craft, a husband, father, pastor, writer, speaker, and podcaster. Lathan has ultimately devoted his life to being a hope-dealer. He believes that everyone is just one heartbeat away from hope, no matter how hopeless things may seem. This belief in the power of hope is why Lathan is launching a new non-profit, A Heartbeat of Hope, which aims to spread words of hope to those who may need them most. Lathan is the author of The Leper in the Church: Stories From the Unseen, a book about mental illness and the Church, and is currently working on a series of books about some of the lesser known characters in the Bible. We talk about what happened in his life that made him focus on God, and why his mission is so important to others.
