Diabetes Knowledge in Practice Podcast

Miscellaneous

The first appointment following a diabetes diagnosis is an important opportunity to begin an optimal management plan. Through a patient-centred approach, this should include discussion of the patient’s personal goals and circumstances, and education on the importance of glycaemic control. To help us put this into practice we are joined by Dr John Buse, Professor of Medicine at the University of North Carolina School of Medicine, and author of the ADA and EASD consensus report on the management of hyperglycaemia in type 2 diabetes.
