Are you a highly driven person, always wanting to learn more, experience more and have more? I know I am.  Hence, why, I’m a crazy creative and passionate entrepreneur.  You dont have to be an entrepreneur to have these instincts.  Its a part of our nature and its how our brain works.   I want to point out a tricky slipper slope, especially when trying to find any ounce of peace and joy as we venture through COVID - or any eye of the storm in your life right now.  Let’s chat about FEELING THE FEELS.Think about your helpful or none helpful thoughts as seeds that are unintentionally or unintentionally sown, nourished and sustained.   Unfortunately, due to overstimulation and short attention spans in todays swirling world - our thoughts are interpreted from the sensation of our feelings and we are unable to GROUND DOWN in our true nature and strong roots - and we live our lives totally letting our seeds (thoughts and feelings)  to be randomly blown around in the wind.Hello anxiety. Right? There is an initial stimulus thoughts come from, and we have the power to know what to do with them, how to experience them, and how to change them through AWARENESS.We tend to go through every day just hoping that the feelings bus doesn’t run us over. So HERE’S A PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT and what no one has ever taught you: A feeling is just a physical sensation in your body. And most of the time - it’s more than one sensation.Welcome OVERWHELM. But it’s never anything other than a sensation in your body.It is not you, it is not your identity and it’s not your true nature. It’s an electrical charge coming from a  stimulus.  This is what the process looks like that manifests into a sensation in the body.  You. Are. Here. In. This. Model.  Now.You think itYou feel itYou do itOr You feel itYou think itYou do itThe amount of emotions you feel will drive the extent of your behaviors.SO THE POINT HERE IS TO LEARN HOW WE CAN CREATE INNER AWARENESS.My Life in Bloom - Mastering the Garden of your Mind Course helps women step into the instant presence I remind ourselves, …."It's ok to feel good. I'm allowed to enjoy life. I'm allowed to be kind to myself." But this is really the representation of our perpetual cycle of thoughts running through our mind.  "When I reach _X__ weight, then I'll be happy." "When I have __X__ amount of money, then I'll be happy." "When my kids are perfectly happy, then I'll be happy." REALIZE THIS DARLING, this is actually a hypnotic unhappiness trance. I have conditioned ourlselves to feel "not enough" by stressing out about our looks,  weight, finances, kids, health, etc...over and over and over again……..When does this stop? After mastering the garden of my mind, becoming a clinical hypnotherapist, it slowly dawned on me that I was the only one keeping myself miserable in my life.  So I asked myself, "What if I allow myself to be happy now?" In all my imperfections. In the same way a small rudder steers a gigantic ship, sometimes a powerful question is all it takes to change the course of your life. "What if you can be at peace and feel inner joy NOW?" I’m passionate about helping women’s brains, so let’s learn how to be happy now.  It’s ok to be a slow learner but you’ll finally draw a connection to the level of your happiness and your ability to JUST BE.Let’s tap into this absolute game-changer together.  When you use it regularly, it literally rewires your brain and body to default to peace instead of stress, depression, worry, anger etc. What if those feelings are just habits you're recycling from the past? What if freedom is easier than you realize? Read the following three steps as if I'm talking to you in a soft hypnotic voice.  Let yourself start to zone out as you read the 5 steps. When you understand the steps, do them immediately. Doing it now sets you up to remember to use it when you need it - later. You can use this anytime you notice yourself feeling stressed, sad, or just have that general sense that something is wrong......because trust me, your mind is looking for something to worry about.  5 STEPS TO PEACE by BEING HERE NOW Protocol 1. Adjust your body language:  Sit up straight, relax your shoulders and take a deep belly breath. Take twice as long to exhale as inhale. 2. Focus your eyes on one spot that's a little above your eye level. Just let yourself "zone out" while you stare at that spot. 3. As you stare at that spot, name - without judgement - 3 things you SEE, HEAR, and FEEL in your body.  Here are my favorite things to notice for the "FEEL" part. The feeling of being supported by the surface beneath me. The feeling of my heart beating - loving and creating gratitude for its steady rhythm. The feeling of the air on my skin.4. Next, state a power word or something positive and simple to yourself.  Examples:  "All is well."“I am one with the greater whole around me.” "I am ok, safe and beloved right now." 5. Notice an acknowledge the peace of this present moment.  Notice how 2 things cannot be in the same place at the same time.  You can't fill your mind with chaotic thoughts and name the things you see, hear, and feel at the same time.  You can immediately go back to the stressful thoughts - and you probably will at first.  That's ok. That's what conscious learning is like.  Then something amazing happens when you keep repeating The BE HERE NOW Protocol...You start to realize that you've duped yourself by looking at life through a negative lens. You realize you were just recycling negative emotions from the past and it's ok to feel good now - even though it feels un-natural You start giving yourself permission to feel good now - no matter how imperfect you are.  Because YOU. ARE. ENOUGH.  Right now. In this moment.  Will you say that to yourself right now?  I'll do it with you... "I AM ENOUGH." "I am allowed to be happy now." "I choose to stop recycling old negative emotions and practice presence." Thank you for reading this my friend.    I wanted to let you know that you too can have peace and calm in the midst of the storm.  I challenge you to try it, even if you have to set a reminder on your phone to do it once an hour (then honor that alarm as if your life depends on it). Have an amazing day.
