Cinema Throwdown is the only podcast featuring a showdown of cinematic proportions. Each week, hosts Jacob and Annie challenge each other to watch a movie and break it down in an endless movie watching struggle. This week, Annie brings the pain to Jacob with a movie that he is supposed to love, Princess Bride. Jacob and Annie watched The Princess Bride this week, a movie that Annie tries to sell as the OG romantic comedy, which Jacob is not buying at all. Jacob is particularly harsh on this "classic" but that is because he was grumpy as hell before recording. No excuses. The episode is all over the place in tone.
