The NT prophets do not speak with the same authority as the OT prophets 2. Acts 21:11 - support or obstacle? a. The accusation of errors. b. The defense of an inerrant prophecy. (1) Track record. Acts 11:27-28 (2) Agabus explicitly claims that he spoke the words of the Holy Spirit. (3) Luke records Agabus’ sign acts similar to OT prophets.
