She is the author of Thread for Pearls, a historical fiction novel based in the early 1960s and 70s which shares what she understands as the fundamental human experience of hope and resiliency. Lauren is a master storyteller with wide-ranging interests in everything from the American experience to Irish spirituality as well as music about love and life.
