This Week: The coronavirus pandemic is not over. Texas, Florida, Arizona and California have seen spikes in COVID-19 cases this week. Despite the recent surges in some states, it’s not slowing down President Trump’s campaign or his travel across the U.S. Jared and FOX’s White House Correspondent Jon Decker discuss.    All over the U.S. historical statues including controversial ones honoring confederates are coming down, many by force. FOX’s Washington Correspondent Rachel Sutherland and FOX News Politics Editor Chris Stirewalt discuss the issue.    Will America add a 51st star to its flag? This week the Democratic-controlled House approved of legislation to make Washington D.C the 51st state.  President Trump has voiced his opposition to D.C. statehood and the White House has also signaled a veto of the statehood bill in the unlikely case it makes it through the GOP-controlled Senate. One of the long time advocates is D.C. City Council Chairman Phil Mendelson. He tells Jared what a new state would be like, what it would mean for the federal government and why district residents need their own state.     A new FOX News poll shows former Vice President Joe Biden leading President Trump in key battleground states including Texas, Georgia, North Carolina and Florida. Jared and FOX News Radio’s Political Analyst Josh Kraushaar weigh in on the recent poll, if Democrats have a chance in flipping Texas this year and how important the upcoming debates will be.
