Receiving a New Anointing 2 Samuel 6:1-5 Matthew 9:17 and no one puts new wine into old wineskins. For the old skins, would burst from the pressure, spilling the wine and ruining the skins. New wine is stored in new wineskins so that both are preserved. 1. Recognize the Anointing 1 King 19:19b Elijah went over to him and threw his cloak across his shoulders and walked away. (NLT) 2. Honor the Anointing Matthew 10:41-42 He who receives a prophet in the name of a prophet shall receive a prophet’s reward. And he who receives a righteous man in the name of a righteous man shall receive a righteous man’s reward. 3. Serve the Anointing 2 Kings 3:11 But Jehoshaphat said, is there no prophet of the Lord here, that we may inquire of the Lord by him? So one of the servants of the king answered and said, Elisha the son of Shaphat is here, who poured water on the hands of Elijah. 4.
