In this episode, I discuss the advantages and disadvantages of being black in a professional space. There are individuals in organizations who often hire minorities to fulfill the appearance of diversity but often you see those employees are in administrative and no matter how exceptional of a worker they are, they are never promoted. Their understanding of work is "At least I have a job" not "This job must satisfy and respect me as an individual.
