The theme for this Advent sermon series is from a well-known carol, “O Holy Night.” This year of all year, we identify with the last part of the line: “A thrill of hope—the weary world rejoices.” We are weary. Weary or not, we can rejoice. The good news of Jesus is still good, and God is still in charge. We need to be reminded of that, especially now.
