With the CAF Champions League coming closer and closer to the final, the semi-final draw has been concluded and the teams have been notified. Kaizer Chiefs will face off against Wydad AC after beating Simba 4-3 on aggregate over the course of two legs and Al Ahly will come up against ES Tunis after beating Mamelodi Sundowns 2-0 and drawing the second leg fixture 1-1. Kaizer Chiefs and Mamelodi Sundowns have been the two major talking points all week as the second leg fixtures of the CAF Champions League Quarter-Finals took place on Saturday. Kaizer Chiefs were sitting in the driver's seat, leading 4-0 on aggregate after the first round, however, Amakhosi were greeted with a scare as Simba managed to win the second leg 3-0. Thus Kaizer Chiefs progressed to the Semi-Finals 4-3 on aggregate. Mamelodi Sundowns, however, failed to overcome a dominant Al Ahly in their respective games, losing 2-0 in the first leg and drawing the second leg 1-1, leaving the two matches with a 3-1 aggregate in favour of Al Ahly.
