Eau Claire is located in west central Wisconsin and is the hub of a lot of great outdoor activities like bike trails and kayaking. And being a college town, you can be there are a lot of great places to eat, stay and enjoy live music and festivals while visitng the area. We have not had an opportunity to visit the area, but Eau Claire is on our radar for this bike riding season. The Chippewa River State Trail is 30 miles long and you can pick it up right in downtown Eau Claire. Their website has an endless list of things you can do in the area.
