The disciples were there with Jesus. I can image a big crown standing around watching and waiting for Jesus’ next great miracle, and then He says that. And suddenly, the attitude changes. The mood around this crown just drops. Suddenly, it’s not so fun anymore. I have felt that. Its not easy. The apostles must have felt that and that couldn’t be easy. But no matter what happened they were certain that Jesus was the Messiah.So please, if you are certain that Jesus is the Messiah,Even though we know and understand that life is going to be difficult,Even though some of the things in the Bible are hard to accept and understand,Even though the people, the culture, and times have changed, Even though other Christians might ridicule you,Even though Ecumenicism and Coexist seem so good,Even though Christ was offensive and harsh,Ask yourselves this one question, “to whom shall we go?”
