Happy Friday, everybody! As we do every Friday, we’ve got a brand new episode of Oilersnation Radio to offer you all of the hottest Oilers takes and news you could ever hope to have as we head into the weekend. This week, we looked at the trade deadline, hypothetical roster additions, contract talk, and a whole lot more. Kicking off today’s episode, we jumped in with a look at the trade deadline and what is the Oilers biggest need going forward. Is it a scoring forward? Is it a depth defender? Will Ken Holland even be able to make a deal given the lack of cap space and shallow asset pool he has to work with? Changing gears, we looked at the news that broke on the site this past week that the Oilers could be reigniting Oil Change and whether or not we would pay to watch a reboot. From there, we shifted into a hypothetical situation that Josh Park put out on the Nation's social media this past week about which former Oiler we would bring back in his prime, and how that addition would impact the current roster. Lastly, we wrapped up this week's episode with a preview of tonight's Battle of Alberta and offered our takes on what the Oilers need to do to rebound after Monday's disastrous outing against Montreal.
