CIE4821. Master course fundamental traffic flow characteristics and traffic flow variables. This lecture discusses the behaviour of crowds and how to model them. The differences between car traffic and pedestrian traffic will be discussed so you will be able to apply the concepts of flow, density and speed to pedestrian flows.
