CIE4821. Master course fundamental traffic flow characteristics and traffic flow variables. This lecture discusses the car-following model and how to calculate the resulting behaviour for the Newel, IDM and other models. Stability is discussed and it explained how to derive the fundamental diagram from a car-following equation.
