Trailer: What is a Millennial?

Can we talk about this? Great. There is a lot going on.  Women around the world who have been sexually harassed are speaking out about what happened to them and not feeling the repercussions themselves, to the point where reports of sexual violence have increased. Simultaneously, it has been observed that around the world, sexual activity has declined among young adults and teenagers.  Is it Private Browsing's fault? Are men being turned off by empowered women? Why are men afraid of women who know what they want?  Also wasn't sexuality supposed to be liberated half a century ago?  See we have a lot to talk about.

You might think that when you're trying to be a professional creative that you can just build it and they will come? Oh no no no no. You may see many successful artists and creatives around but they where the ones that magically survived the years of nothing happening and nobody caring.  So how do they get past that when now everybody cares about what they do and how they support it?  Our episode is joined by artists of different standings and disciplines and listens to experts about the business of being an artist.

Pat Dolan speaks in more detail about Lifecourse theory, the impact his institute has had on government policy, the future of work, the need for migration in Ireland, decentralising the Irish economy, and the future of living.  The interview has very lightly edited to clean up the umm and aghs but the interview has been mostly untouched.

Political Correctness is like trying to squeeze room-temperature butter with plastic yellow kitchen gloves. Its much harder to get a grasp on than you may think and goes all over the place. You either think it entraps true thought, or it acknowledges that not everyone is the same and that society should reflect that. How can a phrase have this kind of opposite meaning?  We try get a handle on this rather slippery and catch-all concept.
