Anxiety affects about 40 million adults in the United States, which makes it the most common mental illness in the US. The good news is anxiety disorders are treatable. The bad news is only 36.9 percent of those who are suffering from this disorder receive treatment. In this episode of the Regenerative Warrior podcast and Medical Influencers show, I talk to Michael Cohen, author and the director of Center for Brain Training in Florida about anxiety and specifically, using neurofeedback to treat anxiety. We also talked about what it really means to suffer from anxiety, how it affect individuals and what other problems can manifest if a person is suffering from anxiety? If you are health care professional who have patients suffering from anxiety, then listen to this episode to find out what you can do to help your patients manage their anxiety and whether or not neurofeedback is the right solution for them.
