Season 2 Episode 23 is out with Ty Duvall. Ty recently signed a UDFA with the Seattle Mariners Organization out of Vanderbilt University. Ty is a catcher that was a part of the 2019 Vanderbilt National Championship Team and was selected by the Oakland Athletics in the 25th round of the 2019 MLB draft. Ty decided to forgo the draft and finish his senior season at Vanderbilt. During his time at Vanderbilt, Ty consistently improved his hitting ability. He talks about what changed over the past couple years and why it has made him so successful. Ty says that playing at Vanderbilt is something you really can’t describe. You are tested every single day mentally and physically. Ty even talks about how competitive and interesting the inter-squads can be. Ty has a great head on his shoulders and is always trying to improve at the game of baseball daily. I am really excited to see him progress over the next couple years in professional baseball.
