We like to think that we have some control over our lives in terms of our success and failure, our health and safety. In a practical sense, maybe we do. God often allows us to experience what we want, even when having it is not the best thing for us. The Bible teaches us, however, that God is the One Who provides and protects and if we are careful we can see a thousand examples of how that's true.
