She earned her Masters of Education and an Education Specialist degree with a concentration in Mental Health Counseling and holds a Certificate in Creative Arts Therapies from the New School in NYC She is a Registered Expressive Arts Therapist (REAT) and a  licensed psychotherapist in New York and Florida.
