Vanessa Nettingham works alongside Jamel Laneé and Assistant Public Information Officer Eddy Durkin as the department's new Social Media and Community Engagement Coordinator. She plans to broaden the department's reach on social media with compelling content, while working on initiatives to help bridge the gap between the police department and Tampa's residents. This nine-year media veteran held positions with WTSP-10 News and WFTS-ABC Action News. Prior to joining television news, Vanessa worked in sports radio with iHeart Media in Denver.
