In this edition of the OKPreps Verbal Commit, we talk with Weatherford 2021 TE/DE Ethan Downs. The Weatherford standout was the first prospect in Oklahoma's 2021 class to commit when he gave a verbal to OU back in October. Fast forward to May and Downs is still holding strong with the Sooners. He's still one of the highly rated prospects so his recruitment hasn't ended. We talk with Downs about that as well as his relationship with the Sooners. We also dive into his junior season and helping lead the Eagles to the 4A state championship game.
