Our goal this week is to encourage you and present you with the hope and comfort that can come through knowing Christ.Right now we are seeing so many negative social media posts about the current state of affairs. Some posts and news articles we have read/seen have gone so far as to prompt depressive thoughts or dread about what the future holds. Our intent is not to dismiss feelings or the severity and contagion of the coronavirus. Instead, we are prompted to share an example of biblical encouragement for this season. The Scripture we share this week is Ecclesiastes 7:8-10, 13-14:“The end of a matter is better than its beginning, and patience is better than pride. Do not be quickly provoked in your spirit, for anger resides in the lap of fools. Do not say “Why were the old days better than these?” For it is not wise to ask such questions.Consider what God has done: Who can straighten what he has made crooked? When times are good, be happy; but when times are bad, consider this: God has made the one as well as the other. Therefore, no one can discover anything about their future.”Christianity Today articles referenced: https://www.christianitytoday.com/biblestudies/bible-answers/spirituallife/what-does-it-mean-to-fear-god.htmlhttps://www.christianitytoday.com/ct/1986/february-7/fearing-god-those-who-have-never-trembled-from-head-to-toe.htmlQuestion to consider: Are there any parts of your life that you don’t want to simply return to status quo once life returns to “normal?”Please let us know how you are doing. How we can be praying for you and yours. Especially let us know if you repented and believed the good news today. Message us, because we would love to celebrate with you. If you have any questions, please let us know.Social MediaInstagram --> @woodworkerandwifeFacebook --> http://www.facebook.com/woodworkerandwifeWebsite --> www.woodworkerandwife.comEmail --> woodworkerandwife@gmail.comMusicMint Chocolate 2a by Vibe Mountain
