Six Count caught up with pianist Wayne Hawkins at the Halfmoon Diner in Clifton Park, N.Y. Originally from Kansas City, Hawkins now plays in a variety of jazz styles around the Capital Region as well as composes and arranges music for films, commercials and recording artists.
